Blinkenlights

Blinkenlights Arcade wins hands-down as our current personal favorite mobile phone application. Play the classic computer game, Tetris, on the side of a building via your handset. Stand in front of the Bibliotheque nationale de France building, dial a special phone number from your mobile phone and the message “TETRIS” announces a new game is about to begin – using the windows of the buildings as the “pixels” of a computer screen.

The interactive light installation is part of the Blinkenlights project based in Berlin, Germany. Pong, Breakout and PacMan are also available.
